Same Swim might have just been launched on October 2015 and started shipping its
first order on December 2015 but it already has over 50k followers on Instagram
and was spotted on Kendall Jenner during her cruise trip. The reason the brand
gains popularity so quickly is because it was created by Shea Maria, the
fashion influencer and fashion blogger of Peace Love Shea who currently has
over 900k followers on Instagram and is a regular at all major fashion weeks
and was promoted by her fellow fashion influencers.
Shea Marie said on her interview with Whowhatwear.com
answering to the question on why she chose swimwear as her first fashion line “It's
such an exciting time for swimwear—more and more, it's really being seen as a
respected form of fashion. I've been attending fashion weeks for the past four
weeks, New York to Paris, and nearly every designer has sent swim down the
runway.” Shea has made a very smart move as now it is the time for luxury swimwear. A lot of women are already spending
thousands of dollars on her dresses to wear to work or for going out, it makes
sense to think that the same woman would also be spending the similar amount of
money on her swimwear just because she would want to look as good on the beach
and in a pool.
